We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

When you use our contact or waitlist form we collect your name, email address and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, province and message.

Why we collect it

Only to respond to your enquiry, add you to a waitlist you asked to join, and follow up about the product you showed interest in. We do not sell your information.

Who we share it with

Our form provider processes submissions on our behalf. We only use operators that are bound to keep your information confidential and secure.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to us processing it. Email hello@katela.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
